ACCESSIBILITY

arrow icon

At Connect we aim to create an event that’s truly accessible, equal, diverse and inclusive for all.

Connect has a dedicated Access Team working all year round to constantly improve the experience for access customers. We welcome and encourage feedback from our attendees on our accessible facilities.

Every decision we’ve made – and have still to make – comes from our aim to make Connect as sustainable as it can possibly be.

We’ve chosen a venue with infrastructure already in place, so there’s less need for new, carbon and energy-hungry installations. It already has running water and power, which means fewer generators and other temporary power sources, again helping to minimise our environmental impact.

Even better, the Royal Highland Centre is easily reached by public transport from anywhere in the country, being close to bus, rail and tram routes from Edinburgh city centre.

We’ve even thought about on-site accommodation – boutique, pre-bookable camping gives you the authentic festival experience but means you don’t have to carry your own gear. It’s also a great way to reduce any waste left behind.

Speaking of which, we’ll have recycling facilities all over the site and we’ll be working to make sure as much waste as possible is collected, sorted and sent for recycling so we don’t contribute to landfill.

From the site build to clean-up, sustainability is at the heart of Connect.
